THE JOURNEY STARTS WITH
A Memory of 3yr Old Me
Singing & Dancing to Roxette's "Joyride"
My journey has always been a quest for creative authenticity, and music is my chariot.
Born in South Africa, with Israeli, Egyptian and Moroccan roots, I developed a deep appreciation for the Middle Eastern flavors and big choral work that influence my compositions.
Epic film scores and thought-provoking lyrics drawn from life experiences and personal development books fuel my creative process.
I’ve never been one to fit into a single box or genre, no matter how many times I tried.
From pursuing a conventional career to instead starting my own business for helping other creators do what they love for a living.
From trying to label myself as one thing, from one place…
a Canadian artist? a global entrepreneur? a YouTuber? a South-African singer? a writer? a designer? a creative director?
…to instead embracing that I am ALL of these things, that I’m a multifaceted being, where no part is silenced.

And that's when the magic started to happen.
what an amazing joyride it's been so far.
...and i feel like i'm just getting started.
Over the past decade, I’ve performed on National Tour, won the Director’s Award for songwriting in Nashville, had my music featured on SHAW TV and in an Egyptian luxury decor commercial accumulating hundreds of thousands of streams across the globe. However, it was the stillness of 2020 that became a turning point, leading to a rebirth in my artistic expression.
Transitioning from the confines of ‘pop music’, my music today has been referred to as “Ruelle meets The Mummy soundtrack“: epic orchestration and brooding vocals with a Middle Eastern twist that transports listeners to otherworldly realms. Think of it as nostalgia meeting the future.
I’ve since collaborated with award-winning engineers and producers such as Jamie Kuse (Riverdale) and Brian Steckler (Walking Dead, Hunted) to further refine my sound and bring my unique vision to life.
Each song is a story, often rooted in personal transformation, mirroring the drama and growth that accompany change.
LiAura (lee-ora) literally means “my light”. And so I hope my music serves to be a light for you in those moments of change or when you need it most.
Keep an eye out for my upcoming single, “Rise” slated for release in 2024.
