There are external battles we face in life, some more intense and challenging than others…but when I was writing that lyric, I actually wasn’t writing about 1 particular event…
…I was writing about the biggest ongoing battle we all face: the battle within.
I believe the greatest war we fight is with ourselves—challenging our doubts, fears, and limitations—over and over and over again.
That’s why I wanted this song to capture both intensity and vulnerability—something that feels bold and action-driven, yet raw, personal, and intimate.
